Bahamas: Che Fortuna! is the contest organized by the Alpitour brand Villaggi Bravo to launch the new facility in the Caribbean, big news of the catalog for the 2016 summer and the only all-inclusive Italian resort on the island served by a direct flight (Neos). sixeleven oversaw the concept, the designing and the implementation of the website dedicated to the initiative chefortuna.villaggibravo.it: the operation aims to promote and give visibility to the Villaggi Bravo Viva Fortuna Beach of Grand Bahama, inviting participants to complete a short test to define the users' traveler profile, choosing from situations, activities and options that are found on a typical day in the village of the Caribbean.
Once established whether his style on vacation corresponds to a Bravo Active, Bravo Relax or Bravo Discover, the user can share his results on social networks, triggering the viral mechanisms of the initiative. After the test, the user is prompted to leave his email in order to be eligible for the final prize: a one week trip for 2 people (flight + accommodation) at the Bravo Viva Fortuna Beach of Grand Bahama. Who invites two friends to participate doubles his chances of victory.
The project was carried out on Laravel framework with an extensive use of animations through CSS. This is obviously a responsive website that guarantees an optimal experience regardless of the device used.
The operation was supported by a series of communication activities directed to travel agencies and also by a radio campaign transmitted for two weeks on Radio Monte Carlo and Radio 105. After three weeks, the participants in the contest/quiz were over 15 thousand.
