Region of Valle d'Aosta. In 2011, the Autonomous Region of Valle d'Aosta started a project co-financed by the European Union, the State and the Region which aims to promote the tourist improvement, conscious of its particularly valuable sites.
At the base of the VIVA project, the need was to highlight protected areas of rare beauty, sites that belong to the ecologic network Natura 2000 and alpine botanical gardens that are only known to few.
Therefore, our objectives: to increase the knowledge of natural places and their specificities both in terms of flora and fauna, and encouraging at the same time the development of a sustainable eco-tourism, able to preserve their value. An attempt to provide a detailed and unitary mapping of the Valle d'Aosta nature, to raise awareness and develop synergies with other sectors such as agriculture and culture, in order to provide new socio-economic opportunities for the local communities.
Our commitment has been actualized in providing a graphical way consistent with the objectives and the user experience: an elegant and minimal imagelet the evocative and emotional images emerge, also highlighting the tourist offer and the activities that can be practiced at the natural areas described, divided by type and target.
