How a game is created

It all came with one simple question: how do you narrate agency life in 90 minutes?

The answer, of course, was more complex: a cards deck and a lot of humour.

During a brainstorming session - where you enter with one idea and get out with four - the nerd section of our agency dared to dream the impossible: turning daily chaos into a family game. An experience that mirrors our reality, with its paradoxes and its contradictions.

So, from there we started. And in our true spirit, it was anything but a smooth process.

The first phase is the design: everything is possible when you have no deadlines. We pulled out every dynamic, every character, every paradoxical situation that is part of agency life.

The second step concerns the game mechanics: giving some rules to the total chaos. This is where magic turned into mathematics.

The deck represents the third phase... Every card is a true experience. Impossible clients, deadlines that shorten, meetings that multiply, brilliant ideas at 6:45 PM on Friday. Everything found its place.

Final phase: beta test. We played. A lot. We laughed, argued about the rules, fixed, rewrote, and played again.
